x402 makes Nansen’s API and MCP more accessible to agents and developers
“Nansen’s API and MCP are incredibly powerful and we believe agents are best suited to leverage this data - with Corbits, Nansen is now more accessible than ever to AI agents and products by removing the need for developers to manage API keys or complex setups.”
— Alex Kehaya, CEO, Corbits
The Problem
Corbits, an open-source studio building advanced tooling for Agentic Commerce and blockchain, wanted to simplify how developers and automated Agents interact with Nansen’s data infrastructure.
While Nansen’s API and MCP already provide labeled, high-quality onchain data, many developers still faced setup friction:
- Manual API key management for each integration.
- Configuration overhead for connecting to MCP pipelines.
- Barriers to rapid prototyping and automation for internal agents.
ABK Labs saw an opportunity to extend Nansen’s infrastructure with a new access layer that made it easier for Agents and users to build on top of Nansen’s data stack.
“We wanted to streamline how teams connect to Nansen — no key management, no manual setup, just instant access to data.”
The Solution
Corbits worked with Nansen to service their API and MCP directly through x402. Corbits’ is built upon Faremeter, an open-source framework designed to make building with Coinbase’s x402 and Google’s AP2 protocols as simple as building a new plugin. As a result Nansen’s onchain intelligence instantly becomes usable by both developers and automated agents regardless of the stack they’re deploying.
The x402 system acts as a secure gateway that manages authentication, routing, and data permissions automatically. It allows any agents not just those within Corbits’ network to query Nansen’s API and MCP without ever needing to handle API keys or individual credentials.
Together, these components give Corbits and its partners, like Dark AI, a plug-and-play analytics environment, powered by Nansen data but optimized for speed, scalability, and usability.
“x402 acts as a universal access point to Nansen’s ecosystem — making it far easier to use at any scale.”
The Results
By combining Nansen’s API and MCP with x402 protocol, ABK Labs achieved:
- Frictionless access to Nansen data — no manual API key distribution required.
- Faster prototyping and deployment, allowing new analytics tools to launch in days at a fraction of the cost.
- Scalable, multi-chain visibility through Nansen’s labeled datasets.
- Simplified agent operations, with authentication and routing handled automatically.
“With x402 unlocking Nansen’s infrastructure, we’ve made institutional-grade blockchain analytics accessible to anyone building in Web3.”
Snapshot at a Glance
ABK Labs’ integration highlights how teams can extend Nansen’s infrastructure to create more efficient and accessible analytics systems.
By combining Nansen’s API and MCP with their x402 access layer, ABK Labs made it dramatically easier for developers, data agents, and institutions to tap into real-time, labeled blockchain data — without needing to manage keys or custom ETL pipelines.
This collaboration demonstrates the flexibility of Nansen’s data stack — and how innovative partners like ABK Labs are helping bring onchain intelligence to more builders, faster.
“We’re confident Nansen’s data stack will power analytics for Agents — x402 accelerates their access.”
