What Exactly Are Nansen Points?
Nansen Points is a loyalty program that rewards people who genuinely use Nansen and believe in the long-term vision.
The program allows users to stack NXP— think of it like experience points (XP) in a game— to track your progress. Naturally, the more Points mean ascending into higher tiers, and higher tiers unlock better stuff.
Simple enough.
Here's what you get:
- Four tiers: Green, Ice, North, and Star (Green is entry level)
- Seasonal rewards that change and improve over time
- Points that don't disappear (assuming you activate them)
- Partner rewards beyond just Nansen benefits
How to Actually Earn Points
When it comes to stacking Points, there are four key ways to go about doing so:
1. Subscribe to Nansen
This is the most straightforward method.
You get 10 Points per dollar spent. So for example, if you grab the Professional monthly plan at $999, that's 9990 points right there.
2. Stake with Nansen
Currently, Nansen In-App Staking supports 20+ different assets for staking rewards in Season 01.
For any chains that aren’t visibly supported in Season 01, there is no need to worry as they are being aggressively integrated into our in-app Staking.
Points from staking get added weekly.
The cool part?
Nansen has been counting all staking activity since day one, so if you were already staking before the program launched, those Points are waiting for you.
3. Refer Friends
Introducing and referring others to subscribe to a paid plan also gets you Points.
You earn 1 point per dollar of whatever subscription they choose.
Since you dont accumulate Points unless the referral opts into a paid subscription, naturally, annual subscriptions from your referrals are worth way more than monthly ones.
4. Complete NXP Quests
And finally, one of the easiest ways to stack Points is simply to complete onboarding tasks.
Do stuff like setting up your first Smart Alert and easily accumulate NXP into your balance.
These are quick wins that add Points immediately.
Getting Started with Nansen Points
So for those that are ready to hop into this journey, you can easily find Points in the lefthand side of the Nansen Superapp.
Go into Points dashboard, and upon first entry, will be welcomed to activate your Points.
Once you’re in, you will have a clear view of everything you need to know from top to bottom, from:
- What Tier you are currently standing at and how much left to reach the next tier
- Your overall Points history and balance, including which actions need to be taken to receive Points
- An overview of all the Rewards available for the current season
Looking Ahead: Future Seasons
As noted above Season 01 is just the beginning. Each season brings fresh partners, enhanced perks, and new reward categories.
Your activated Points and tier achievements carry forward, creating an evolving journey of benefits.
Season 02 details will be unveiled closer to launch, but expect expanding staking asset support in-app, new partner integrations, and even more rewards as the season progresses.

You build your Points empire through these strategic actions:

Do I need to do anything to keep my points?
Yes—you must activate your initial Points to secure them permanently.
Once activated, your Points from subscriptions, staking, and successful paid referrals flow directly into your Nansen Points Hub.
Remember: Unactivated Points vanish at Season 01's end—activate before the deadline to protect your treasure.
What happens after Season 01 ends?
Your activated Nansen Points and tier achievements advance with you to Season 02 and beyond. However, unactivated Points disappear forever at Season 01's conclusion—so activate your Points before the season finale.
